Pedestrian Killed In Weekend Prince George's Crash: Police

One person has died in a pedestrian-involved crash in Prince George's County over the weekend, authorities said.

Police responded to the collision in the 9000 block of Annapolis Road around 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, Prince George's County Police said. 

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His identity is awaiting positive confirmation from his family. 

Initial investigation suggested the man was hit by a car while he tried to cross Annapolis Road, police said. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and was not hurt, police added.
